In 2005, USBSP and the University of Pittsburgh´s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business formed a partnership known as the Center for Executive Development Praha (CEDP), located in the heart of Prague, Czech Republic.
The aim of this partnership cooperation is to jointly provide a broad spectrum of the highest quality services in executive education for the wider region.

Both institutions use exclusively the professors from the University of Pittsburgh and other renowned institutions from all over the world.

Today, the two institutions have a joint number of more than 1.000 Alumni who successfully completed their studies in the Czech Republic and today, can be found in leading positions in both domestic and international organizations in the region and all parts of the world. The University of Pittsburgh was founded in 1787 as a small, private school, the Pittsburgh Academy. In the 220 years since, the University has evolved into an internationally recognized center of learning and research.
In 1960, Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business was founded under the University of Pittsburgh brand. It soon became one of the most prestigious business schools in the United States and in the world. In Czech Republic, it currently offers one of the world’s top-ranked postgraduate Executive MBA (the so called EMBA).
