About the Course
This seminar focuses on the principles and on the art of successful project management. Topics in the seminar include:
- selecting projects
- planning projects
- identifying and using critical tasks
- dealing with resources
- managing multiple projects
- dealing with uncertainty
- executing projects
- monitoring & control
- closing a project.
Concepts and tools are illustrated with Microsoft Project to facilitate the connection of the concepts with contemporary project management software.
This course will utilize: Theory, exercises, class discussions (including the sharing of project experiences). Use of software, such as MS Project, will be demonstrated and discussed.
All study materials necessary will be supplied. Lunch, coffee, tea, soft drinks and light refreshments throughout the day will be provided.
